IDX is proud to announce the newest releases of the DUO Compact battery series, the DUO-C198 and
DUO-C98. In addition to having the same great features as the current DUO-C’s (one USB, one D-Tap,
one D-Tap Advanced), the DUO-C198 and DUO-C98 have more capacity, and added features of the
SMBus and V-Torch LED light.
The DUO-C198 is the newest, compact, high capacity battery solution for digital cinema cameras and
camera stabilizer systems where long runtimes are required. With its ultra-robust 191Wh capacity and
compact 2.3lbs design, the DUO-C198 can provide mobile power to cine-style cameras such as the
ARRI ALEXA Mini and RED WEAPON effortlessly for extended periods while also powering accessories
such as monitors, lights, wireless receivers, tablets, phones and more.
The DUO-C98 now becomes the world’s most perfect compact, IATA friendly (<100Wh), Li-ion professional
battery with multiple power outputs at 96Wh capacity- perfect for handheld gimbal and aerial
setups. The DUO-C98’s continue where the DUO-C95’s left off by sharing the same slim profiile of 1.5
inches (25.4 mm) and allowing the battery to fit camera systems where space is limited. Now with the
ability to handle 10A load, the DUO-C98 is the ideal battery for keeping your equipment light and compact.
