Which chargers are compatible with the DUO Compact Series batteries?
The DUO Compact Series batteries are compatible with all past and present IDX Lithium Ion V-Mount Chargers. For more information regarding charge times, please see here

Will the D-Tap Advanced output on my DUO Compact battery charge with other brand D-Tap Chargers?
No. The DUO Compact Series D-Tap Advanced output utilizes a unique three-pin design which is only compatible with IDX's D-Tap Charger.

How do you activate the USB power ouput?
To active the USB power output, simply push and hold down the CHECK / USB ON button on the side of the battery for at least 3 seconds. Once activated, the LED's on the battery will illuminate in succession to indicate the USB is ready for use. Please note that the USB port will deactivate after 30 mins of inactivity.

Can I charge my DUO Compact battery using the D-Tap Advanced output and main connector at the same time?
No. Charging your DUO Compact battery using the D-Tap Advanced output and main connector at the same time may cause a charging error and/or damage your charger.

Can I use the power outputs on my DUO Compact battery while it is charging?
No. Using the D-Tap or USB outputs while charging your DUO Compact battery may cause a charging error and/or damage your charger.

What are some recommended storage techniques to extend the life of my battery?
For short term storage (day-to-day, week-week), we recommend to store your battery fully charged. For long term storage (month-to-month, three months+), we recommend to store your battery at a 20-40% charge in a cool and dry room.
