Reliable Wireless Video
The CW-3 utilizes auto hopping technology that scans and identifies the cleanest available channels on the license exempt 5GHz spectrum. Operating on both DFS and non-DFS frequencies, the CW-3 has access to five (EU) and seven (US)channels to send audio/video content. At 50mW transmit power, the CW-3 has ample power to deliver crystal clear content from your video source to your monitoring device.
Uncompressed Full HD
The CW-3 transmits uncompressed 10 bit 1080p/60 4:2:2 video. With less than 1ms of latency, you can monitor content in real time at full HD resolution. What you see in the camera is what you see on the monitor with virtually no loss in image quality.
Mounting Options
Equipped with industry standard ¼" -20 mounting points, the CW-3 TX and RX can integrate into any camera/monitor setup with ease. The system comes standard with a shoe mount to ¼"-20 screw adaptor.

How far will the CW-3 transmit?
The CW-3 will transmit up to 380 feet free-line-of-sight (without any obstructions between the TX and RX). Please note that if any dense material such as metal, concrete, water, people, etc. come between the Transmitter and Receiver, the wireless signal strength will decrease and the transmission range may vary.

What is the recommended setup for maximum performance?
We recommend minimizing the amount of dense materials (such as metal, concrete, water, people, etc.) from getting between the transmitter and receiver as these will weaken the units signal strength. This commonly is achieved by mounting or placing the Receiver up about 10 feet in the air to be overhead of any obstacles.

Can I use multiple pairs of systems in the same space?
Yes. When using multiple pairs of systems in the same space, please make sure the Receiver units are space out about 5-10 feet (2 meters for European models) from one another for best results. We recommend using no more than 3-4 (2-3 for European models) systems to maximize the number of available frequencies during use.

Can I transmit from 1 TX to multiple RXs?
No. The CW-3 is a point to point system (1 TX to 1 RX).

Does the CW-3 transmit audio?
Yes! The CW-3 transmits 2 channels of SDI embedded audio in sync with the video.

Can I transmit video from the CW-3 TX directly to a laptop or mobile device?
No. The CW-3 TX will only communicate to its paired RX.

No. The CW-3 signal is encrypted with WPA2-PSK (AES) and the TX will only communicate to its paired RX.
