IDX lightens equipment bags with new ‘one charger fits all’ Li-ion charger

Los Angeles, CA: IDX announced the release of the LC-2A – a Li-ion charger designed with interchangeable interface plates for charging 7.2V/7.4V Canon, Panasonic, and Sony type batteries. The 2-Channel quick charger simultaneously charges two batteries in any combination of compatible models (i.e. Sony NP-F970 & Canon LP-E6). With a 100-240V AC input, the LC-2A can be used globally, a perfect piece of equipment for traveling.  

“We are excited to expand our 7.2/7.4V PROSeries line with the LC-2A. The affordability of this product allows camera operators of all levels to take advantage of such a versatile product,” said Tomo Nishikawa, General Manager, IDX System Technology. “These days, various brands of photo and video equipment coexist and work as one system. We wanted to streamline this coexistence and offer a single product that can charge all the batteries for these pieces of equipment.”
